What do I have to do if I want to distribute information in the canteens and cafeterias or use a promotion stand in the foyer of our building for an advertising campaign? How can I get my advertising onto the screens? Who do I contact if I want to advertise a party organised by the students council?

The Studierendenwerk Dortmund is happy to support students and companies in distributing information in the canteens and cafeterias. However, any advertising campaign must be approved in advance.

"Legitimate" representatives of the students, such as representatives of the colleges or student bodies, have the opportunity to advertise in our facilities free of charge. As soon as the event is commercial, publication is subject to a fee. Please contact us and write to the university dining services.

Using screens in the canteen

If you would like to use the screens in our locations for your advertising, please note the following guidelines:

Width: 1,920 pixels
Height: 1,080 pixels
Mode: RGB
Resolution: 72 dpi

Moving image

Spot length: 15 or 20 seconds
Format: mp4
Width: 1,920 pixels
Height: 1,080 pixels
Bitrate: 10-15 Mbit/s
Frame rate: 25 FPS
