Helpful strategies for reducing stress
In this interactive workshop, we will work together to develop helpful strategies for dealing with stress. To do this, we will first create your individual stress amplifier profile to find out how your inner beliefs amplify your stress. We will then discuss ways to adjust your beliefs so that they enable you to deal with challenges more constructively (source: Kaluza, 2015).
- When: 07.05.2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm
- Who for: Students at the FH Südwestfalen in Hagen

3rd workshop: Celebrating mistakes instead of fearing them
for beginners and advanced
Making mistakes is human and a normal part of performance. Some groundbreaking discoveries are based on mistakes. Nevertheless, mistakes are (still) a taboo subject for many and Germany ranks second to last internationally in terms of a positive error culture. This workshop offers the opportunity to reflect on one's own attitude towards mistakes and to scrutinise their role in relation to one's self-image. In addition, approaches to dealing constructively with mistakes will be taught.
- When: 17.06.2025, 9-12 am
- Where: Location to be announced
- Contact person: Clara Hirzel
- Please send registrations to psbe(at)stwdo.de
4th workshop: Yes to no - setting boundaries with confidence
"I just can't say no", "I have helper syndrome", "I always want everyone to be happy" - these and other statements are made by people who find it difficult to set behavioural and emotional boundaries. But how do I recognise my boundaries? Why do I find it so difficult to set boundaries? How do I recognise that I have crossed my own boundaries? And finally, how do I communicate my boundaries to others? We want to explore these questions together in the workshop, because: You can learn to set boundaries! The number of participants is limited to 10 students.
- When: 12.05.2025 and 19.05.2025, 3-5 pm each day
- Where: The location will be announced.
